"Immediate results, not future dreams" - this is the mantra of the entrepreneur who is striving hard to become "the person responsible for your success" by establishing a Powerful And Life-Changing Home Business. The first part of the mantra could be applied to the entrepreneur as well as to the home based business enterprise. Yes, there will always be a need for future goals and dreams (that's the unavoidable eventuality). But that does not mean that the entrepreneur has to spend his or her time dreaming about it.
Rather, the person has to make the effort to learn what will help that person reach his or her dreams. This requires that person to work hard and be committed to doing it. That's why you have to tell yourself, if you are able to do it, that you can do it. You can't just read a book or watch a video or listen to an inspirational talk on the radio and expect that you will be successful. And you certainly cannot expect that others will be successful if you don't try to be successful.
Therefore, the second part of the mantra is - find a way to help people succeed. That does not mean you give money away. No, that doesn't mean that you stop earning money. Nor does it mean that you become a charitable man. The important part is to find a way to help people achieve their goals. That is your real business.
There are many ways to help those who are less fortunate than you. You can be generous with your time, talent, knowledge or skills. You can teach or mentor those who are weak in areas where you excel. Or, you can simply be a good coach, a good spouse, a good family man or a good son or daughter. This is all part of becoming the person responsible for your own success.
Thirdly, as a person who is looking to make a difference in your world, you must also be a person who is willing to make sacrifices. This does not mean giving up your dreams. It does mean that you have to work harder than everybody else. That is a fact of life.
In sum, the fourth part of the mantra is - find a way to help others succeed. That does not mean that you give away your money. Nor does it mean that you become a charitable man. Neither does it mean that you need to be a coach or a mentor. But, you do need to earn more than you are currently earning. And in so doing - by making the right choices - you can take the steps needed to become the person who is truly powerful and life-changing.
