Health Benefits of Bitter Kola


In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the benefits of bitter kola. This herb is one of the main ingredients of many types of herbal tea. It is typically grown in the South African region. It is sometimes referred to as sweet kola. Many people believe it has a unique healing property that can help to support the immune system and strengthen the bones and joints.


An extensive study was conducted by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). A review of scientific literature showed numerous benefits of bitter kola. The study showed that the health benefits of ingesting bitter kola are rated extremely high for diarrhea, bacterial or viral infections and cancer. In addition to that, the participants also report that the majority of the participants feel that the benefits of bitter kola have low benefits for easing food poisoning, diarrhea or stomach pain. In addition, participants state that they notice an improvement in their digestive health and believe they are becoming less prone to sickness.

Bitter kola has a number of medicinal properties. Although it has not been clinically proven to have any medicinal qualities, some people believe it has some. For example, garcinia cambogia was investigated in clinical trials and found to have antiviral, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. The flavonoids present in bitter kola may work similarly to the way the flavonoids in garcinia cambogia act on the body.

Bitter orange is another popular medicinal plant medicine. It has obtained considerable attention as a potential aid for Crohn's disease, inflammatory bowel diseases, ulcerative colitis and other bowel-related disorders. It is believed that garcinia cambogia has similar effects on those diseases, however, it does not have the same effects on those with ulcers, inflammation and other bowel problems. There are also a number of health benefits associated with this alkaloid. It is reported that ingestion of bitter orange or garcinia cambogia has positive effects on the cardiovascular system, reducing the risk of heart attack. Some preliminary studies also suggest that it has positive effects on the nervous system and the brain, promoting neuroprotection. Flavonoids can prevent certain types of cancer, although the evidence is still unclear about the exact role that they play in protecting against different cancers.

The health benefits of bitter orange and garcinia cambogia were initially observed during a study conducted on rats, in which rats were fed with a diet rich in oxidized copper (OCT) over a period of time. When the rats were then tested for anxiety and depressive-like behavior, they showed a significant reduction in both of these symptoms. This same study then proved that the level of oxidation in their brains was directly related to the level of anxiety they displayed. In another experiment using mice as subjects, it was found that they showed a significant increase in the amount of melanin after they were subjected to UV light, which is believed to act as an antioxidant. These and other experiments seem to provide strong evidence that the compounds present in these berries can have an important role in the prevention and treatment of a variety of different diseases and disorders.
